When to call us now
If you see or smell any of these
These are not for the contact form.
Burning smell, smoke or sparks
Get everyone out and call 911. Then call us.
A hot or scorched outlet, switch or panel
If it is safe to reach, turn off its breaker. Then call us before anyone uses it again.
Water near wiring
Keep away from it. If it is safe to reach, turn off the breaker. Then call us.
A shock from a fixture or switch
Do not use it again until we have looked at it. A tingle is a warning, not a quirk of an old house.
Questions
Before you call
Do you do emergency work?
We don't staff nights or weekends for emergencies. If you smell burning, see sparks or smoke, leave the house and call 911. For a problem during the week, call or text first thing and we will tell you plainly when we can come.
Can I text you a photo?
Yes. Text a photo of the panel, a fixture or the thing that worries you to the number in the header. A photo helps us book the right visit. It is not a diagnosis.
Are you licensed and insured, and how do I check?
Yes. The license line in the footer of every page links to Georgia's license lookup. Ask for our certificate of insurance at any time and we will send it.
